Whole-person mental health care.

Depression, anxiety, and burnout don't live in your head alone. SPRAVATO®, medication management, and IV therapy; one approach, three locations. We take a whole-person approach to mental health, considering your symptoms, medical history, treatment goals, and individual needs through evidence-based care.

You've been prescribed, passed around, and told to wait and see.

That's not care. That's triage. We do it differently.

We're a family-run Pacific Northwest practice with every service under one roof. Your plan is built around you, not pulled off a shelf. Often it's a combination of treatments, and it's never one-size-fits-all.

Structured Schedule Typically twice weekly at first, with later frequency determined by your provider.
Insurance Assistance Our team helps review benefits, authorizations, and treatment costs.
How do I begin SPRAVATO® treatment?
  1. Speak with our team about your symptoms and treatment history.
  2. Complete a clinical evaluation to determine eligibility.
  3. Review insurance or available payment options.
  4. Coordinate prescription, specialty pharmacy delivery, and scheduling.

Frequently asked questions about mental health treatment

Learn about SPRAVATO® treatment, psychiatric care, insurance, and getting started with Northwest Healing & Wellness in the Seattle area.

What is SPRAVATO® (esketamine) treatment?
SPRAVATO® is an FDA-approved prescription esketamine nasal spray for certain adults with treatment-resistant depression. Unlike many traditional antidepressants, it acts on the brain's glutamate system. Treatment takes place under medical supervision.
Who qualifies for SPRAVATO® treatment?
Adults with treatment-resistant depression may qualify after a clinical evaluation. SPRAVATO® also has an FDA-approved indication for depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder and acute suicidal ideation or behavior, when used with an oral antidepressant. Eligibility depends on medical history and prescribing criteria.
What happens during a SPRAVATO® appointment?
You self-administer the nasal spray under clinical supervision. A healthcare provider monitors you for at least two hours and determines when you are clinically stable to leave. Arrange transportation home; you must not drive until the following day after a restful night's sleep.
How often are SPRAVATO® treatments scheduled?
For treatment-resistant depression, treatment typically starts twice weekly for four weeks, followed by weekly sessions for the next four weeks. Your provider then determines whether weekly or every-other-week maintenance is appropriate.
Where can I receive SPRAVATO® treatment near Seattle?
Northwest Healing & Wellness serves patients in Bellevue, Seattle, and Tacoma. SPRAVATO® scheduling varies by clinic, and not every location may currently be accepting treatment appointments. Contact our team to confirm the nearest available treatment location.
Does insurance cover SPRAVATO® treatment?
Many insurance plans provide SPRAVATO® coverage when medical-necessity and authorization requirements are met. Coverage can differ for the medication and the supervised treatment session. Our team can help review your benefits, network status, and anticipated costs.
Do you offer psychiatric medication management?
Medication management involves reviewing your symptoms, medication history, response, and side effects to develop an individualized prescribing plan. Deprescribing may be considered when clinically appropriate. Please confirm current appointment availability.
Is transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) available?
TMS is a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate brain regions associated with mood. Northwest Healing & Wellness plans to introduce TMS in 2027. It is not currently available.
